In October 2025, Matterport tours stopped rendering in Zillow listings after the CoStar acquisition. Thousands of agents lost the ‘3D Walkthrough’ integration overnight.

Where exactly does the URL go?
Anywhere a link goes. Zillow's Virtual Tour URL field, Realtor.com, Bright MLS, your brokerage's listing CMS, your own site, your email signature, your QR code on the For Sale sign. The URL is a single branded subdomain on alphamodo.com — buyers just open it. No app, no sign-in, no installer.

Why this instead of Matterport?
Matterport's mesh model is excellent at floor plans and rubbery at photoreal. It also costs $400–$1,500 per scan plus a $69–$309 monthly subscription, and it stopped rendering inside Zillow listings in October 2025 after the CoStar acquisition. Gaussian splatting is photoreal where mesh is rubbery, runs in any browser, and renders inside the Zillow Virtual Tour iframe that's now an open lane.

What devices does it work on?
Any modern browser — desktop, tablet, phone. Buyers don't need an app. Walk Mode uses voxel collision so it works on touchscreens too: tap a point on the floor and the camera moves there.

Can I edit the tour after delivery?
Yes. Annotation pins (room labels, finishes, square footage callouts) can be edited up to 90 days after delivery for free. Re-captures for a remodel or staging change are $149 added to a renovation timeline; the buyer drags between captures of the same address.

What happens after the 90-day hosting?
$99/year per tour to keep it live, or migrate to the $79/month Agent SaaS plan for unlimited hosting + view analytics + custom subdomain. Agents with 4+ tours per month do better on the SaaS tier.
